It is generally not recommended or legal to drive through an amber light in Australia. The amber light signals that the traffic light is about to turn red, and drivers should prepare to stop. However, there may be certain circumstances in which it is safe and permissible to proceed through an amber light, such as if a driver is unable to safely stop before reaching the intersection. Additionally, in some states and territories, a driver may proceed through an amber light if the driver is already committed to the intersection and the light turns amber just as the driver reaches it.

It is always recommended to consult with local traffic laws and regulations before making a decision.
