A man has been arrested following the ram raid of a Ballarat tobacco store last week.
A car reportedly reversed into the front entrance of the Curtis Street store early Thursday morning, before the driver fled without gaining entry.
On Friday, The VIPER Taskforce executed a warrant on the premises, locating over 1,000 sticks of illicit cigarettes.
A 45-year-old Winter Valley man was arrested and interviewed by police in relation to the possession of drugs and illicit tobacco, weapon offences and possessing proceeds of crime.
He is expected to be charged on summons.
