As police conducted Operation Furlong over the weekend, a Winter Valley woman has been caught allegedly travelling 50 kilometres over the speed limit.
On Friday morning, police found the Ford Focus allegedly travelling at 150 kilometres an hour in a 100 zone along the Midland Highway in Bannockburn.
The woman allegedly said she was running late for work.

Her car was impounded with towing costs of $1,425 and is expected to be charged with speed and traffic offences.
