Ballarat drivers continue to ignore the speed limit, after police targeted high-risk driving behaviour across Western Victoria.
Operation West Connect is a police operation focused on detecting speeding, distracted and impaired drivers.
During a blitz on Friday, police figures revealed six people were caught with speeding offences in Ballarat.

One person was caught without a seatbelt, one person was caught in an unregistered vehicle, and one was found to be travelling unlicenced.
Over 150 offences have been detected since the operation began, with sixty per cent based around speeding.
The operation will continue on major arterial roads across the region.
