Local police have raised concerns over speed and driver distraction, following the results of a weekend road safety operation.
On Sunday, officers conducted a T.A.C. operation in the Ballarat region.
Police say the most disappointing incident occurred when a Holden Commodore was pulled over after allegedly travelling 19 kilometres over the speed limit, with the same car pulled over again an hour later – this time allegedly travelling 32 kilometres over the limit.

17 infringement notices were issued during the operation, with four resulting in licence suspensions.
