Another police operation will kick off in the region tomorrow, cracking down on drink and drug driving during the AFL Grand Final long weekend.
Operation Scoreboard will see police conducting roadside alcohol and drug tests throughout Victoria.
It comes as the number of lives lost on state roads soars to a seven year high, with 210 fatalities recorded so far in 2023.

Last year, police reported 436 drivers for drink and drug driving during Operation Scoreboard, with over 123,000 alcohol and drug tests conducted by police.
The operation will run until 11:59pm on Sunday night.
