The accused killer of Ballarat mother Samantha Murphy has pleaded guilty to drink and drug driving charges.
In October 2023, now 24-year-old Patrick Stephenson was reportedly found by police in the middle of Armstrong Street South after crashing his motorcycle.
A blood sample later revealed an alcohol reading of 0.148 and traces of MDMA.

Appearing in Ballarat Magistrates Court remotely today, he was given a $2,500 fine and was disqualified from driving for 28 months.
In November last year Mr. Stephenson pleaded not guilty to the murder of Ms. Murphy with his case now fast-tracked to the Supreme Court.
