This year’s Ballarat International Foto Biennale will feature over 2,000 works from some of the world’s biggest names in photography.
With the full program for 2023’s festival unveiled today, this year’s theme will be The Real Thing, encouraging visitors to question, decipher and explore.
Highlights of this year’s festival include an exhibition of 59 original Polaroids, taken by Andy Warhol, the world premiere of People Power by New York’s renowned Platon (pictured) and a nine-metre monkey statue to make Ballarat’s National Centre for Photography home.
Tickets will be available from tomorrow, with the festival to kick off from the 26th of August to the 22nd of October.
