Organisation Calls for Regional Infrastructure Equality

Regional Cities Victoria calls on the Albanese Government to guarantee that 25% of Victorian federal infrastructure funding is spent on regional projects in areas like Ballarat and Bendigo.

A delegation from the organisation will be in Canberra today to make the point directly to the Government, ahead of the budget in May.

Chair of the group, Shane Sali, says regional cities are experiencing significant population growth and without infrastructure funding, country Victoria risks falling behind.
