Land sales have risen in Ballarat over the June quarter, marking an end to a downward trend in the city.
According to a report by RPM, 108 home sites were sold in Ballarat during the quarter, up 151 per cent and outpacing sales in Melbourne and Geelong growth corridors.
However, the median price for a Ballarat lot shrank 4.3 per cent to just over $302,000.

120 new lots were released to the market, the highest result since the third quarter of last year.
