The Western Bulldogs and ASICS are providing young Ballarat footballers with free footwear.
The partnership will see registered football participants in the Ballarat Football and Netball League from the under 9’s to under 14’s receive a brand-new pair of ASICS shoes.
It comes before the Bulldogs Round 2 clash with Gold Coast at Mars Stadium this Sunday.
Nicola Young from ASICS says they’ll be rolling out this initiative to other communities in the years to come.
“We really recognise the importance and impact participation in sport can have on the wellbeing and development of children, and that real ability to unite communities,” she said.
“[In] providing the footwear to these next gen footballers, hopefully they’ll feel more comfortable and more confident when they run out onto the field.”
