Eureka MP Michaela Settle says she’d like to see more details put on the table before a Ballarat to Geelong passenger rail service is seriously considered.
The Committee for Ballarat has recently floated the idea of a service, using existing rail infrastructure.
Ms. Settle has wondered if the demand for the service would be there.

“While both of these communities absolutely are growing, what I’d really want to understand is what the traffic is between them,” she said.
“Certainly, I’ve done [the commute] in the past, but it’d be interesting to know who’s done it.”
