A Lucas mum has made the national final of the Mrs Galaxy Australia pageant.
Nilupulie Karunaratne, who has 5-year-old twins, is no stranger to the pageant circuit after being crowned the winner of a similar competition back in 2023.
Nilu says pageants have changed a lot and for the better.

“It’s not only about the beauty, it’s not about the physical appearance actually, it’s more than that.”
“In modern pageantry there’s more focus on empowerment of women, personal development opportunities and confidence building,” Mrs. Karunaratne said.
The winner will be crowed in Sydney in early May.
