From a selection of 28, Ballarat’s best pie for 2024 has been named.
On Saturday, Itinerant Spirits’ wild orchard apple and Vansetter vodka pie was crowned the best after an official judging at Hop Temple.
The pie, which is served with a pine nettle ice cream, was also named best sweet pie.

The best savory pie went to 321 Cafe in Learmonth, for their lamb shank and mustard mash pie.
Last year’s winners Flying Chillies took out third place for their curry laksa pie.
