Witness Mark says he saw the roof of a portable building blown off whilst being carried on the back of a truck at around 11am this morning.
The newsroom understands it landed on the Melbourne bound lanes, luckily so one was hurt.
“I was probably a couple of hundred yards back and I didn’t know what the hell was going on, what I saw appeared to be the roof of a classroom,” Mark said.

The city so far today receiving a peak gust of 74kph with the weather bureau predicting they could top between 90 to 100kph.
