One of the leaders behind a local health service appeal has been shortlisted for a national fundraising award.
Ahead of their Excellence in Fundraising Awards, the Fundraising Institute of Australia has nominated Creswick’s Bob Orr in the category of Fundraising Champion of the Year.
Bob was a driving force behind the Creswick Health Upgrade Appeal, launched to cover the shortfall in building funds for local hospital and aged care facility upgrades.

The campaign hit its target of $150,000 last month.
The winner of the fundraising award will be announced on February 29th.
