The Ballarat-based CEO of Vinnies Victoria says demand for their services locally is through the roof.
The Wendouree Assistance Centre is fully booked during its operating hours, after seeing a 300 per cent increase.
Dr. Jennifer Fitzgerald says they’re seeing many new faces too.

“The current economic environment is really putting pressure on people and people that we have not seen before [including] people who are actually employed,” she said.
