A new World War 1 memorial and garden have been unveiled on Ballarat’s outskirts.

It’s the first time that tribute has been paid to the fallen at the Warrenheip Memorial Hall despite the name of the hall.

Committee for Warrenheip Vice President Wayne Drew says it’s a touching local memorial.
