With less than ten days to vote in Ballarat’s council elections, Commerce Ballarat are helping local residents still undecided on who to vote for.
The organisation has released the results of its survey where candidates were asked about issues relevant to business.
CEO of Commerce Ballarat, Jodie Gillett, says we need quality councillors voted in.
“We’ve got some really unique challenges here in Ballarat, and we’ve also got the challenge of the economy that everybody’s facing,” she said.
“We need some really serious people in council, and we need them to be looking at how they can help our businesses survive and thrive,” she said.
The Victorian Electoral Commission is urging locals to post their completed ballot pack before 6pm on the 25th of October.
Ballot packs can also be dropped at the Bridge Mall election office.
