The Victorian Country Athletics Championships are returning to Ballarat for the first time in three years.
Running from Friday, January 26th to Sunday, January 28th at Llanberris Reserve, over 1,000 people are expected at the venue every day.
The championships are a major event on the state’s athletics calendar, with over 800 participants from across Melbourne and country Victoria attending and vying for medals and bragging rights.

Amongst the highly anticipated events, Ballarat will host the 10,000 metre on the Saturday, along with a 100-yard invitational event where the state’s fastest athletes battle it out for prize money.
