Ballarat Formula Ford driver Joe Fawcett has finished in 6th position following a weekend of racing on the famed Bathurst circuit.
It was a tough start for Joe with qualifying cut short due to a red flag incident just as he was on a lap that could have seen him break into the top three, instead he started the race from 14th.
After round one Joe is placed sixth in the points race to decide the champion with six rounds still to come

“It was a dream come true to race at Bathurst this weekend,” Fawcett said.
“We showed really good pace over the weekend, lapping the iconic track in 2 minutes 19 seconds on my last lap.”
