The Palestinian Film Festival is coming to Ballarat Trades Hall this Thursday in conjunction with Free Palestine Ballarat and Palestinian Film Festival Australia.

Join us for a FREE screening of 1948 – Creation & Catastrophe.

Festival director, Naser Shakhtour, suggested this for our first local film screening as gives viewers an understanding necessary to appreciate the fullness of Palestinian cinema.

The film is a real achievement in itself given the obstructionism to revealing this particular history.

It’s a must-see, and we are so happy and grateful to be able to offer it.
