AusCycling are calling for more volunteers, ahead of the 2024 Road National Championships event in Ballarat.
The prestigious event will return to the city from January 4th to 7th, with the country’s best elite, junior, club and para-cyclists battling it out on local roads for the green-and-gold national jersey.
Workforce Manager for AusCycling, Robyn Shuttleworth, says volunteer roles are available in the morning and afternoon.
“We have different roles including course marshals that will be directing our riders along the course and ensuring their safety, as well as pedestrian marshals that also support the spectators that are coming along to the start and finish line [and] volunteers up on the King of the Mountain,” she said.
