Outlaw Motor Cycle Gang the Bandidos will be visible this long weekend in Ballarat.
Police say they believe they’ll ride from central Ballarat to Buninyong tomorrow before returning.
Its understood they’ll be in Ballarat until Sunday with their AGM on the agenda.
Echo & VIPER taskforces along with local police and specialist units will monitor the run with Superintendent Frank Sells saying any unlawful activity not tolerated.
“Victoria Police will have an increased presence across the Ballarat area this weekend to minimise any community disruption or intimidation that may arise from the Bandidos OMCG national run.”
“Members of the Echo and VIPER Taskforces, alongside local police, will have a vehicle checkpoint set up on the route to ensure the riders are complying with the road rules and conducting themselves appropriately.”
“We will be monitoring all activity and will be ready to take swift action to prevent, detect and disrupt any potential unlawful activity. It will not be tolerated.”
“Victoria Police is not intimidated by OMCGs and we will not allow our communities to be,” said Superintendent Sells.
