Police have rescued an 81-year-old from Delacombe after he drove into Carngham Creek yesterday afternoon.
The man reportedly was driving on Beaufort-Carngham Road at 1:05pm when he missed a bridge and went into a ditch.
A driver travelling in the opposite direction stopped to call triple zero as the car was filling with water.

Firefighters and a paramedic rescued the man, who was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
