Ambitious end date for Bridge Mall works set

An ambitious completion timeline has been set for the Bridge Mall’s $18.6 million redevelopment.

The Mall’s Traders Association telling the station the aim is for March next year.

Tracy Govern from the association says a walk around the site with construction engineers last week was helpful.

“People had a lot of questions around the timeframe [and] what stages in what process,” she said.

“It gave us a bit more clear sight to what’s going to happen and how it’s going to happen and how it won’t impact our businesses like a lot of people thought it would.”
