From tomorrow, Hepburn Shire cat owners will be forced to keep their furry friends inside between sunset and sunrise.
As part of the council’s domestic animal management plan, the cat curfew has been put in place to try and reduce breeding, fighting, injuries and the death of wildlife.
Many Victorian councils have already introduced cat curfews, with Hepburn Shire Council encouraging residents to report breaches via their website.
