Work’s underway to replace seventy trees along the Avenue of Honour of Burrumbeet.
Ballarat Council says the trees are considered to have structural damage or are dying.
Following consultation with Heritage Victoria, the trees will be replaced with 30 Hybrid Oak and 40 Pin Oak trees, to be planted in the same location between Bo Peep Road and Lake Burrumbeet Caravan Park.
